Mr. Fan is an independent non-executive director and chairman of risk management committee of China Everbright Environment Group Limited, an independent non-executive director and chairman of the nomination committee and ad hoc selection committee of First Pacific Company Limited as well as an external director of Sumida Corporation (listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange).
He was previously an independent non-executive director of China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited, PFC Device Inc. and an independent director of Goodman Group. Mr. Fan holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a master’s degree in Operations Research from Stanford University, as well as a master’s degree in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company in January 2010. He is aged 74.
